Every bank employee is responsible not only for their own work, but also for the consequences of decisions made within the system.
If you are aware of possible abuses, concealment of information, pressure on businesses, conflicts of interest, corrupt practices or other violations — ignoring them does not make you a neutral observer.
This cannot simply be ignored and pretended that nothing is happening. In such cases, silence often becomes part of the unlawful scheme itself.
While ordinary employees fulfil their duties, decisions at the top may be made with entirely different logic. Practice shows that in times of crisis, responsibility is often shifted downward, not upward.
Those who made the key decisions are, as a rule, best protected. Everyone else has to explain why they knew but kept silent.
While you work by the rules:
Your management uses the system for personal gain. For them — expensive apartments and houses, the best education for children and healthcare for parents abroad. For you — criminal liability for their crimes.
Being loyal doesn't mean being the fall guy:
Loyalty will not protect you when an investigation begins — it will make you a convenient target to answer for your bosses' crimes.
Do not cover decisions:
Do not cover decisions for which the executors, not the managers, will ultimately be held responsible.
If you have documents, internal correspondence, audit materials or other verifiable information of public significance, it must be transmitted through a secure communication channel.
